Haidian District held a pilot promotion ceremony for biodiesel to help build a new highland of green economic cycle in the capital.

　　On the morning of October 14th, 2024, the filling ceremony of the first pilot project of closed-loop popularization and application of hydrocarbon-based biodiesel in China was successfully held in Haidian District, Beijing. As the leaders at the meeting jointly pressed the start button, the staff injected the first batch of hydrocarbon-based biodiesel into the pilot vehicle at the filling site, and the first filling was a complete success. This also marks that the domestic pilot promotion of hydrocarbon-based biodiesel has taken the lead in Haidian District, Beijing!

　　Hydrocarbon-based biodiesel is produced by hydrodeoxygenation of waste oils such as gutter oil, palm acidified oil and rancid oil. Its chemical composition is very close to that of diesel oil, and it can be blended with diesel oil in any proportion. It is a strategic product of bioenergy industry.

　　In November 2023, the National Energy Administration issued the Notice on Launching Pilot Demonstration of Biodiesel Popularization and Application. At the beginning of April this year, 22 pilot projects, including Haidian District in Beijing, were successfully selected. Among them, Beijing Haixin Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Beijing Haidian District State-owned Assets Investment Group Co., Ltd., which participated in the declaration and later construction, and the pilot project of biodiesel in Juxian County, Shandong Province were successfully listed. It is understood that the pilot project in Haidian District launched this time will build a closed-loop application scenario of the whole industry chain of kitchen waste oil collection, transportation, pretreatment, production and recycling in the region.

　　() The company is one of the first enterprises in China to convert hydrocarbon-based biodiesel from waste oil, and it is also one of the few enterprises in China that can produce hydrocarbon-based biodiesel from waste oil and have sustainable aviation fuel technology. In order to better complete the pilot project of popularization and application, Haixin Nengke Company, with the correct leadership and strong support of leaders at all levels and relevant departments, actively exerted the initiative of state-owned enterprises, cooperated with various resources, unblocked cooperation channels, established a perfect regional green circular economy system, and truly formed an industrial chain from raw material collection, manufacturing and production to practical application.

　　At the raw material collection end, we cooperated with Golden Arch (China), Yum! (China), Zhongjing Zhenghe and other enterprises to complete the collection and transportation of kitchen waste oil at the raw material end, which solved the problem of waste oil flowing back to the table from the source, and made full preparations for subsequent processing and manufacturing through pretreatment technology.

　　At the production and processing end, Haixinengke uses advanced production technology to process kitchen waste oil into high-quality hydrocarbon-based biodiesel, and then China Petrochemical Beijing Petroleum Branch and China Aviation Oil Co., Ltd. provide B10 diesel blending technical support, blending hydrocarbon-based biodiesel with petrochemical diesel at a ratio of 10% to become B10 diesel, which can be reused in pilot demonstration vehicles. (B10 biodiesel is a blended fuel made of 10% biodiesel and 90% petrochemical diesel.)

　　At the product application end, the first batch of delivered hydrocarbon-based biodiesel will be injected into the ground vehicles within the scope of China Aviation Oil Beijing Airport, the sanitation municipal vehicles in Haidian District, and the transport vehicles of enterprises such as Golden Arch (China), Yum! (China) and Zhongjing Zhenghe, and will be gradually extended and used in the regional transportation field, eventually forming a vivid practice of implementing the concept of low-carbon development in Beijing. With the gradual formation of biodiesel into the national certified voluntary emission reduction (CCER) mechanism, the carbon emission reduction of biodiesel will play a greater economic value.
