There is no obvious cross axis or steep slope, only some slippery mud, so it can’t pose a threat to the passage of vehicles. Control the direction and stabilize the throttle, and you can easily pass.
In terms of the details of the chassis, the off-road gun has added a metal guard to protect the transfer box, fuel tank and other positions, and will not cause direct damage to the hardware because of the bottom support in off-road.
The approach angle, departure angle and minimum ground clearance of the Great Wall Gun off-road pickup truck are 30, 26 and 228mm, respectively, which are not much different from those of the ordinary version. The overall comfort of the Great Wall gun off-road pickup truck when driving on the paved road is acceptable, except that the high air intake mentioned above will bring certain noise and the nitrogen shock absorber has a strong road feeling, the other aspects are similar to the ordinary version. The 2.0T engine has 190 horsepower and 360 Nm, which will not give any surprises in terms of power when driving a body with more than 2 tons. The power is not abundant but enough. Accelerating from 30km/h to 80km/h will not feel procrastination.
The shifting logic of 8AT gearbox conforms to common sense, and the upshift is positive, but I think it is a bit too cautious in gearbox protection. Facing the uphill road ahead, the gearbox can’t downshift multiple gears in succession, and the actual measurement can only be reduced from the 7th gear to the 4th gear, and then the paddles will not work, so the dynamic response will not be very positive, even if the accelerator pedal is deeply stepped on, it will be quite unusual.
With regard to braking, the overall performance makes the driver feel a little insecure. Perhaps it is also influenced by the greater inertia of the vehicle weight. The braking force is not very strong. There is a certain vacancy in the initial stage of the brake pedal. If you want to obtain a certain braking force, you need enough pedal stroke to release the braking force. However, due to the good support of the nitrogen shock absorber, the overall posture is good.
# Some commonly used configurations
Stainless steel shelves and flat covers of containers are not equipped even with top-mounted models, which requires an extra 7,000 yuan for optional installation. After the optional installation, the containers can really be used to put some luggage, but the price is really not cheap. If there is a need to pack luggage later, it is still recommended to install some limit devices, otherwise the luggage will run around after driving.
After the flat cover of the container is opened, it still has a certain height, and the strength of the hydraulic rod is not light. It takes a little effort for a petite female friend to close it. After closing, she has to press both sides down to completely close it.
The 9-inch central control LCD screen has the functions of multimedia, GPS navigation, mobile phone interconnection and Carplay, and also supports the expansion of applications. In addition, the probability that the 7-inch full LCD instrument panel can be seen on the pickup truck is extremely low, and it can display the altitude and air pressure, which will be a very practical configuration on the plateau.
